BUSINESS EXPANSION:
Expansion in Aurora's business park is very probable this spring with the development of two new businesses in that park, and will begin with construction of a new frontage road this spring. Several newly constructed or completely renovated businesses now complement Aurora's existing downtown area. Many of the businesses have completed or are planning new facelifts for their facilities. Over 100 established businesses offer local shoppers a wide variety of retail products and services right here in our hometown.
LOCAL SERVICES:
Family health care services are provided by our local hospital and nursing home, clinic, dental clinic, independent physical therapy facility and a private chiropractic practice. Services within the White Community Hospital include a podiatrist, a physical therapy wing, sleep lab, heliport and new vision center. Aurora residents are served by our well-trained Volunteer Fire Department, First Responders and local Sheriff's Department. Our Community/Senior Center is available for rent for community functions, weddings, etc. An excellent public library adjoins the historic City Hall, which offers visitors a self-guided pictorial tour of the past century of life in Aurora.
